The headline wins the award for “Media Idiocy of the Day”. All of these “countries” are part of the United States. They are U.S. territories, not countries.

This nonsense story comes from the content mill, Mindfully American. The story was written by a “journalist”. The author only writes stories that have a number in the title: Articles by Ysatis Rios Sabat’s Profile | MSN (US), NSM Today, Mindfully American Journalist | Muck Rack

Her name appears only at content mills and MSN Start (via the content mills). It is questionable whether the author is a real person (if this wasn’t just a blog I would attempt to contact her and get verification that she is an actual person and not a Chat bot.)

The same story also appeared in August 2023, via another content mill, under a different title: No Passport, No Problem. 6 Countries That Roll Out the Welcome Mat for Americans (msn.com) That web site has a very vague “About” page bio: About . FAQ . Contact – A Piece Of Rainbow. Clues: First name only, no university named for the claimed MFA. Suspect AI is involved (as of January 2024, an estimated 90% of “newsrooms” are using AI in some part of the process.)
