An AI generated content mill

Note the curiously vague author bios: About us (trendydigests.com)

None of those I sampled have any online presence other than this page. These are the signs of fake author bios. The author photos are likely AI generated. Notice how they all have similar bland, colored backgrounds on the photos.

The first 2-4 people might be real – there just happens to be a Leo Parker that has previously written about using generative AI to write content: hi, I’m interested in generative AI. I like to focus on AI ethics, machine learning, big language model dynamics and so on. I used to be a technology reporter. I work for Trendy Digests, a… – Leo parker – Medium – but note that this Leo Parker exists nowhere else on the Internet. Leo Parker has no LinkedIn Profile page, nothing.

Here is what Bing says about this:

Yes, Leo Parker, the editor of Trendy Digests, has written an article on how AI is reshaping the future of creative work 1. In the article, he mentions that generative AI powered by large language models has raised the prospect that chatbots could be used to generate plots or scripts for crime shows, animated series, and other formulaic television series, with human writers left only to punch up the computer-generated work. However, he also mentions that AI can enhance human creativity by providing new tools and inspiration. AI can lead us to new insights and accelerate the pace of innovation 1.

I could not find any information on whether Trendy Digests uses generative AI to create content. However, I found an article on MSN that discusses the use of generative AI in the entertainment industry 1. The article mentions that AI-generated content is transforming the entertainment industry, from production to distribution. It also mentions that generative AI techniques can be used to create new ideas in three ways: 1) By producing novel combinations of familiar ideas 2) By exploring the potential of conceptual spaces 3) By making transformations that enable the generation of previously impossible ideas 1.

I hope this helps!

This is the type of garbage content that Trendy Digest and hundreds of similar “news sites” generate using AI.

No one at the UN IPCC is predicting this outcome.

This is click-bait hysteria inducing, fear mongering garbage. Today, Yahoo News, MSN Start and Google News are now primary outlets for garbage content mills.

Journalism is now a wasteland of crap.

Eventually I found this:
