Web site troubles this past week
The web site was offline for over a day this past week as the Internet host provider had a backend server or network issue.
Problems began one week ago with slow server performance, and on Tuesday, the systems completely failed. After the initial attempt to bring the systems back online, they again had additional outages on Wednesday and a minor one on Thursday. By Friday, everything is working very well again.
At some point, I will make changes to some of the web sites to improve their efficiency.
Of my 7 web sites, I intend to focus on these moving forward:
This blog – Social Panic – has been run as a personal, online space to record notes about online propaganda, social media propaganda, and more recently, terrible journalism. The latter topic veers off into negativity – terrible journalism is common and frustrating to see.
I do not like the negative tone have not decided what to do about this blog. Continue publishing it? Archive it and leave it online? Make it private? No ideas at this point.
