Fake News: Reuters mangles the story and has it backwards
Reuters says a pro-Palestine demonstrator is detained by the police. But they had it backwards – he’s an Israeli Arab and the police were protecting him from protesters. However, this individual may have a reputation for appearing at protests engaged in various behaviors per the comments to his original X post.
Reuters has now changed the caption, but without posting a correction notice:
