Yep – now that social media has been declared a “public health crisis” in New York City, public health can begin to regulate tech companies and social media according to the NYC Mayor. Once declared a crisis, public health experts, who performed flawlessly during the Covid-19 pandemic, can step in and issue authoritative regulations on social media.
