Data from clinical trials indicate the vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are about 95% effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19 infections.

Today we know the claim is false. A paper published earlier in 2023 (unfortunately I cannot find it at the moment) estimated Covid vaccines were17% effective at preventing infection, significantly less than 95%, and from the standpoint of impacting viral transmission, this is effectively zero.

The CDC has a web page on vaccine effectiveness, and the results vary greatly by date of the study, age of patient, and what their outcome measure is – they are not 95% effective and frequently did meet Fauci’s own stated goal of at least 50% effective: CDC COVID Data Tracker: Vaccine Effectiveness

In both cases the media, which once upon a time promoted themselves as defenders of speech, have become propaganda operations, acting as censors of information that later proved to be true.

Another example would be the Hunter Biden laptop story – which the media buried, making up an excuse that it was Russian disinformation, since disproven – the story was true.

At this point in 2024, nothing the media does can be trusted anymore. Not one word.
