#CNN’s Airport news monopoly seen as propaganda operation to captive audience

We make fun of North Korea with propaganda posters hanging prominently, while here in the U.S., we saturate public spaces like airports with non-stop CNN talking heads. Where as in North Korea, the leader is idolized, on CNN, it is the opposite with 93% negative reporting, 92% of the time.
For many travelers, the “airport news network” makes airports an anxiety producing environment working to further a culture of perpetual outrage. Airports alienate their travelers because CNN pays airports to carry their propaganda operation. CNN pays airports because the typical traveler has money, is upscale – and highly desired target for advertising propaganda.
