UPDATE In July of 2025,

• After initially making this blog private in the winter of 2024/2025, I restored several hundred of the original posts.
• About 1,600 posts have been made private, and 130 have been archived.
• Less than 800 of the original posts remain online.
• I restored some of the posts because they were linked from other sites (mine) and had interesting items worth sharing.
• Posts were removed because (a) they were now out of date, (b) no longer relevant, (c) off topic for this blog, or (d) just didn’t make sense to keep them online anymore.
• A side effect is that many will land here on this blog due to an online search – but end up now on a 404 page not found error.

I post here mainly as a place for searchable notes on various things I see – which lately is bad media reporting. This blog began as a place to track social media “stuff” including items shared that are not true – and how social media is used for frictionless propaganda messaging.

This blog does not get a lot of visitors – a few dozen per day via online searches – plus lots of AI systems scanning and scraping the content.

Since there does not appear to be much use by real people, I decided, originally, to make the blog private, but a few months later I had some time to clean out old posts and leave mostly relevant posts online.

This blog has been published since 2014.
