CCN also openly promotes the idea that journalists should not be objective when reporting on climate and energy.

This is propaganda, not news reporting. Propaganda is messaging designed to get the target (you) to adopt someone else’s agenda, and uses, primarily, the propaganda methods of fear, appeal to authority, and “get on the bandwagon”.

They choose

  • what topics to cover
  • who to contact
  • who to quote
  • who to not quote
  • selectively choose quotes
  • and then per the above, assume there is 100% agreement and their selected experts are correct, and all others are wrong.
  • Journalists learned nothing from the Covid era of inconsistent, contradictory, incoherent, illogical duel experts – and continue as usual today, but now on climate
