Transportation Secretary Norm Mineta immediately closed the national airspace likely averting a 5th attack. It disregards the the police, firefighters and individuals who confronted this calamity first hand. It ignores the address to the nation made that night by President Bush.

But … reporters sitting behind desks were the real heroes of 9/11. Good God.
