The dossier, first reported by the Telegraph, said the programme made Trump “‘say’ things [he] never actually said” by cutting together footage.

The memo also complained that footage of marchers who appeared to have been inspired by Trump was actually taken before the speech had been made.

The BBC Director General and the BBC News CEO have both resigned.

Perhaps they could apply for Dan Rather’s old job at CBS News? Using documents magically output using Microsoft Word in the 1970s (before Word existed!) was quite the trick!

As of 2025, there is no media outlet that can be trusted. One should assume everything presented in the media contains errors and biased selection of who to interview and which quotes to use.
