We used to have hot summer weather: Map Shows Millions Facing ‘Lethal’ Heat Warning in 7 States

Now it’s “lethal”, “brutal”, “scorching”, “life threatening” – for what we used to call summer.

In June of 2024, one city on the east coast broke the day’s historical high temperature by 1 degree. That single degree increase was described as “smashing” the old record.

The media is gradually running out of superlative adjectives. No one knows what will happen when they have used up all their adjectives!
