I had never investigated the Blue Check program until moments ago. It is used to further our neo-feudalism of elite versus the plebians, ensuring that we know our place. Only the truly elite are supposed to get Blue Check marks. Blue Checks are a mark of techno-nobility.
“Fan-baiting” is said to be a movie marketing technique where studios intentionally create controversy about the plot, characters or casting for the purpose of creating outrage and social media discussions, thereby increasing publicity for the film.
The media has run with this fake label “Doomsday Glacier” because it sounds scary, and the primary purpose of the media is to scare you to death which helps them get clicks and sell eyeballs to advertisers. The scientists do not like this label either.
CNBC cites a Pew report to claim that more people are sharing living arrangements due to student debts. But nowhere in the Pew report does it say that. In fact, the Pew report suggests the majority of the change is due to the increase in the immigrant population in the U.S. CNBC just made up a news report to push the student debt meme.
