- In your browser, click on the little down arrow (upside down triangle icon) at upper right corner. Go down and select Settings.
- In the column of options at left of screen, select Apps.
- Delete all Apps that do not really need access to your Facebook information.
- Hover your mouse over an app and then select the X that appears to delete the app.
- Or, select the pencil icon to edit the App’s settings. Select the post visibility option, at top of dialog box, to the best privacy setting for your needs. Then, view the list of things the App is permitted to do with your Facebook access. If possible, unselect items from the list of things the App is permitted to do.
